Since joining Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has been serving a two-game suspension for slapping a phone out of a 14-year-old's hand last April. As a result, he was unable to play and had to watch from the stands as his team defeated Al-Ta'ee 2-0.
As a result of his suspension, the former Manchester United forward will not be able to play when his team faces off against Al-Shabab on Saturday. His first game in Saudi Arabian football will be against Paris Saint-Germain on January 19th.
Ronaldo's first official game for Al-Nassr will be on January 22nd, against Ettifaq. There has been a lot of excitement in Saudi Arabia since Ronaldo's arrival. His image was projected onto the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, with a message that read "CR7 Welcome To Arabia." He is currently living in a large "Kingdom Suite" with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children. He was also introduced to his team's supporters along with his family last week.
