Neymar's Struggles Continue: French Press Labels Him as the "Biggest Flop in the History of Football"

Neymar has had a rough start to the year with his team PSG, losing their most recent match against Rennes and not performing well against Angers. 

As a result, he has received criticism from French media who have labeled him as the "biggest flop in the history of football."

Neymar has not been performing well recently, both with the national team during the World Cup, and with his club team PSG. 

He did not play in the first game against Lens, which ended in defeat for PSG, and while he did play alongside Messi in a win against Angers, his performance was not up to par. 

On Sunday, he was also a part of the team's loss to Rennes. 

French media has been critical of his performance, with one journalist claiming that in terms of salary and transfer fee, he is the biggest flop in the history of football. 

Despite a strong start to the season, with 15 goals and 13 assists in 22 games, his recent performance has not been as impactful as expected.

The criticism from the French press is not unwarranted, as Neymar's recent performances have been underwhelming. 

He has not been able to live up to the high expectations set for him, especially considering the astronomical transfer fee of €222 million that PSG paid for him in 2017. 

His tendency to try and make the difference on his own has led to costly turnovers in dangerous areas, and he has not been able to create many scoring opportunities for his team. 

This is especially concerning for PSG as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League just one month away. 

The pressure is now on Neymar to step up his game and prove his worth as a player, otherwise, the label of the "biggest flop in the history of football" may stick.
