Ancelotti defends Vinicius in midst of controversy ahead of Copa del Rey match against Atletico Madrid

 Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, spoke at a press conference ahead of a Copa del Rey match against Atletico Madrid. 

He discussed how his team and the opposing team were doing, and addressed the recent ticket controversy at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

Ancelotti also spoke about certain players, including Kroos and Modric, who were substitutes in the previous game, and mentioned the progress of Valverde. 

He was also asked about Vinicius, and stated that the team needs to protect him and that he is motivated and focused.

Additionally, Ancelotti emphasized the importance of Vinicius in football and stated that he sees him motivated and focused, and that he does not complain. 

The coach also said that Kroos and Modric can play together and have been contributing and decisive, but also acknowledged that other players like Ceballos, Camavinga, and Asensio are also options for the match. 

He concluded by saying that the best team will play in the Copa del Rey quarter-final on Thursday.
