urgent | Ronaldo joins the Saudi NASR in a free transfer
- World Soccer Today -
A big surprise was made by Al-Nasr Al-Saudi, after the inclusion of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in a free transfer deal.
During the World Cup, the player denied joining the Saudi club, despite the widespread news about his joining at the start of the tournament.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr with a sum of 250 million euros for two and a half seasons, in a completely new experience for the Portuguese.
Ronaldo's departure from United came with problems, after he gave a fiery press interview in which he attacked the management, the coach and the fans, to become the only player in the tournament without a club until he joined the victory.
