Officially, Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia is the representative of Asia in the Club World Cup

Al-Hilal Saudi Club was selected by the AFC Competitions Committee to represent the continent of Asia in the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup.


In an official statement by the AFC, Al Hilal was chosen as the 2021 AFC Champions League title holder.


The AFC statement came as follows: Given the possibility that the 2022 AFC Champions League edition may not be completed until May, that is, after the 2022 Morocco Club World Cup, the Competitions Committee agreed to nominate Al Hilal Saudi Club.





It is noteworthy that Morocco will host the next edition of the Club World Cup from 1 to 11 February 2022.
