Al-Ahly Club announced its official confirmation of its participation in the Club World Cup, after its stay in Morocco this year, so that Al-Ahly would participate as a representative of the African continent.

Despite the loss of the African title in favor of Wydad, the participation of the Moroccan club came under the status of the host country, so that the African champion and runner-up participated together.

With this number, Al-Ahly becomes the first club in Africa to guarantee participation in the tournament for three consecutive years, to write a record in the tournament.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly won the bronze medal two years in a row, in front of the Brazilian Palmeiras and the Saudi Hilal.
